How to actually make money doing consumer research in TX

Many people use the Internet to find opportunities to make a few extra bucks without learning a whole new skill set. Because so many people use the Internet in this way, there are many people who create scams and schemes to prey on these people and take their money. There are many scams involving consumer research, claiming you can make thousands filling out surveys. That is rarely, if ever, the case. However, there are legitimate consumer research firms that are usually locally based and will pay you actual money for your time and opinions.

Most of these companies do focus group testing, where the researchers will assemble a panel of 5 to 20 people and bring them all together at the research facility. The researcher will then show them new products or marketing ideas and gather feedback and reactions. The sessions are relatively short, about 1-2 hours, and you will typically receive between $50 and $200, depending on the nature of the study.
